Writing from the Shadow Self Workshop - October 19th, 2024

Your shadow self has a unique way of finding its voice in your writing, revealing itself in countless forms. How can we embrace and honour this part of ourselves while using it to craft meaningful and powerful poems? This workshop welcomes anyone who feels inspired and curious to explore their shadow self and create poetry that speaks from this deep, sacred space.

Feeling a little nervous? That’s completely normal! We’re a small, supportive group, and sharing your work is always optional.

• 1 hour lesson on:
  • What the shadow self is
  • How yours can and will show up in your writing
  • How to honor the shadow self and write transformative poetry from this sacred place
• 15 min guided writing time with prompts
• 15 min sharing time (optional!)

You’ll also go home with a pdf of my Fall Writing Word Prompts and a recording of the session!

All levels of writers welcome—if you’ve never written a poem before or if you have been writing for lifetimes <3
